EMERGENCE is moving! The incredible artwork of Ann Beeching is photographed, and Susan Stamm is well on her way to having the graphic design ready for the Discmakers process of duplication.

Some of you already have the music because it is done and is available to those of you who want to work with it and have the artwork later. Let me know if you want a copy of the music now.

EMERGENCE is bringing a really new ME into existence. I can’t stay in former habit patterns of negativity, narrow thinking, victimization when I listen to my own music. What a gift this music is me personally!!!

Having my own business means that always I have to reach inside and find new ways of perceiving people and events from a creative, ensouled space. My first reactions may not necessarily be from this creative, ensouled space (Go figure!!) and yet if I’m not aware, I may make decisions or interact with people from a small and limited “non-EMERGENCE” space. This is not a good thing! Probably the greatest gift of moving into self-employment has been the constant feedback from people and events of whether I am in a small ME or the ensouled creative “EMERGENCE” ME.

Let’s get serious. We’re really going to talk about chipmunks? Yep!

We have chipmunks and have been unable to trap these intelligent creatures. Chipmunks have caused us lots of damage….for example, chewing up the inside of the dryer drum two years ago….or chewing up an entire set of lawn chairs one winter. So….they are very cute, but not on my most favorite animal list.

However, this one chipmunk has been keeping me company right outside my sliding glass office doors for several weeks. Yesterday it occurred to me to ask if this was a power animal. Did it have something to tell me? So I “googled” the chipmunk as power animal.

Some of the characteristics of chipmunk are curiosity, fearlessness, playfulness, and independence. Hmmmm……what do you suppose the chipmunk is asking of me?

Anyway this chipmunk is just SO cute and happy! A nice energy to have right outside of my office door. So now let’s bring all of it’s characteristics INSIDE my office and INSIDE of me. (Except for the chewing things up part!)

Today I actually got out the “Celebrating 1…13…15″ flyers to thank all of you who have supported me through the years. It’s wonderful that THIS July I am celebrating a year of living my dream to be a composer, recording artist full time. Thank you to all.

I sit here around 9:30PM listening to thunder announce the severe weather that is coming into the area. Already one of our counties has a tornado warning. We have that feeling of “waiting”.

Today I spent most of the day preparing for the Soul/Deepbody recording session, and then recording music. This was an especially powerful descent into my creative core relationship with the SOURCE of all creation. So much so that I wasn’t sure what I had created. When this happens, my personality wants to jump up and say “Was it any good?” That is when I surrender into a deep meditation, and then go and listen back to the music.

Oh my gosh! This new music is such an expression of FIRE in the world….of the erotic…of communication with nature. The golden Eagle cries to the vast sky as it soars above the horsewoman running freely. Goddesses of nature weave and support beauty and creativity. Fire and Erotic dance….Eastern flute…drum…sitar…powerful!

I express over and over again how grateful I am for the privilege of composing Soul/Deepbody music.

It is dusk which has to be my MOST favorite outdoor time. It is a soft time and the cicadas are singing….frogs peeping….birds doing that throaty thing they do (which is so endearing) when they are settling down to sleep. The greens have a gray cast and everything is soft.

Some of you with Soul/Deepbody music have an aspect of dusk in your album.

I have been thinking a lot about death lately. It’s a strange thing to think about the planet Earth without me in it. There is a transformation that we all have to go through….leaving our bodies in the earth and going back to whatever we go back to. All religions and philosophies have different ideas about what this place of Spirit is….and no one really knows. So dying is the ultimate journey for me into the Unknown.

My dear friend, whose funeral I attended last Saturday, died in his sleep with a smile on his face. Traces of the smile were still on his face when he was laying in his coffin. I am sure that his beloved wife came to get him!

Today, Monday, was the usual taking care of the various business details of Mayan Dream Productions, Int’l. Also, I had a wonderful conversation with the person whose Soul/Deepbody music I will create this Wednesday. I have such a respect for the depth of spiritual awareness of everyone whose music I have composed. WOW!

The afternoon was one of support of family as they went to the cancer center to find out what is happening for them. We talked about quality of life and of the meaning of death.

Dusk is turning into night. It is beautiful.

Yesterday….a busy day of shipping, etc. and around 4:00 off to the market to get ears of corn for corn-on-the-cob (yes, this is Indiana!) and other miscellaneous because Ann and Susan are coming over for supper and….then…we are going to see Harry Potter 5. Got home….one third of the house….including the stove…has no electricity. Okay!! So…a quick call to friends to say, come over anyway, but I have no stove for cooking. We had a super dinner, having cooked corn on the cob in the electric frying pan…hee hee..Ann brought tons of veggies and fruit as if to feed the entire block….Susan baked an awesome blueberry/cherry crisp. We sat outside in the shade of our beautiful trees with the temperature around 78 degrees and sunshine through the trees. It was wonderful and fun.

Still today….no electricity in these particular areas of the house and it’s likely to remain that way throughout the weekend. And I’m not missing my stove or my living/dinner room lights! Mayan Dream Productions Int’l office still has all of its juice, so life is good. Walt is in Las Vegas at a Math conference (yes…really!) so he doesn’t miss the stove or lights either.

The trickster…keeping life interesting!

Harry Potter 5 was really good. I haven’t read the books, so it’s always new and exciting to me. What I found particularly good was the portrayal of the nasty woman in pink. The “powers that be” who rule the ministry of magic were moving from fear….and as a result their perceptions and actions were getting smaller and smaller. The woman in pink personified what happens when fear takes over and attempts to place life into a tight little box with total disregard for the unknown world. When that fearful person takes over, life quickly becomes REALLY bad. I can’t remember the name of the person who acted this part, but she was great. Harry Potter also is beginning to come up against the core of his purpose, and he is having to bring forward resources and belief in the unknown….under extreme conditions. This is not easy stuff! Living our purpose is not for wimps!

So….I have to see this movie many times over.

Tomorrow I will be at the funeral of a friend who worked for the diocese and the Office of Worship (remember, I was director of the Office of Worship for eight years). He was gentle, very in tune with the world of spirit, and was missing his wife Vicki who died in her sleep three years ago. My friend also died in his sleep, and is now reconnected with his beloved life partner.
I can’t be sad that he has died because it was so good for him to finally get to the place he was longing for.

As I sit here I am listening to Atitlan Fire music. I can’t wait to get back to Central America.

Today I have the privilege and total fun of composing Soul/Deepbody music.

Ilene Satala recently taught a creativity class where she spoke about the various places that we can live within ourselves. There is the five sensory place of knowing which is limited to that which we see, hear, taste, smell, feel. This place is pretty limited, and is not particularly creative. From that space, we relive the same things over and over. There is also the Ensouled Deepbody space. Ilene says: “Ensouled Deep-Body is where your creativity lives. Your body loves to create sending supportive chemistry into your body. Your Soul supplies motivation and inspiration for you to live your purpose through creative expression. This level uses the energy body to supply you with abundant energy to create for long periods of time. The flow never ends and knows no restrictions. It is all about living large and creating large.” End of quote.

I have found that the Soul/Deepbody, for me, is the sacred place of connection to the SOURCE. I ask to be brought into that space and it is there for me.

The Soul/Deepbody music that is created for an individual supports the individual in living their birth energy….their purpose….and assists in the connection of the individual to their own Soul/Deepbody force.

So…today I get to compose Soul/Deepbody music. How awesome!

The Healing Music album continues also to unfold for me. What is this music all about? We go back to my question of “what is healing?”. Healing is a journey toward connection with our Maker. The Healing Music is taking me on this journey and showing me depths of connection that I did not understand before. It’s sort of like being immersed in a river of Wisdom, and having that Wisdom support and transform me.

We are finally getting rain. Yeh!!!

I am sitting here at my desk delighting in the beauty of early morning. Life is emerging for another day. The sunlight streams through the greens of summer trees as a golden blessing. The bird song is simply gorgeous. Flowers are in full bloom as pinks and reds and yellows…staying bright through my own caring of them. We are experiencing (as is a lot of the country) a serious lack of rain, so the plant and bird life around me is depending on me to provide water.

Our planet is such a beautiful life force. It’s no wonder that it is inspiring and leading me to celebrate it with music. I do believe also that all of us who are honoring our planet and caring for it….we will make a difference in tipping its balance back into health.

The music for the third album in the Earth trilogy is beginning to come forward.
This third album will be all about the fullness of life and its potential in our Earth.

Meanwhile, EMERGENCE will be out very soon now. The artwork will be going to the photographer this week. The description, MP3 file samples of all tracks are also going up….there was a delay….but everything will be on the website this week. All happens in the natural timing of the Universe!

In my own personal life I am exploring what this Healing Music is all about. Healing for me is not about taking pain or illness away from my physical body. Healing is a process of bringing my personal life into the space of the sacred journey. My lifelong pattern is to OFTEN place outer events and demands of life in a different space and time than my SOUL purpose. This is kind of hard to describe in words, but basically all of the music that I compose comes from a sacred alignment with my Soul/Deepbody divine essence. My difficulty is that many times I separate other parts of my life from this sacred alignment. Healing for me means that all parts of my personal and professional life come into alignment with my Soul/Deepbody. Thus decisions on all levels will come from an entirely different place and my life will have a much easier journey and a radiance.

The albums of Soul/Deepbody music that I have composed for the collective process, and for individuals have all given me much practice in “knowing” the place of sacred alignment. I know what it feels like. This gift can now be used by me as I live a new level of healing and bring the many parts of my life into alignment with the divine.

TODAY….I am mailing the new music for the Soul/Deepbody individual albums to everyone that already has a Soul/Deepbody album. This new music is SO cool! It is a dance and a celebration of living all of life as the sacred alignment of Soul/Deepbody on the planet Earth. Called “Living as Soul in human form” it will be included on all future Soul/Deepbody albums.

We had a great time in Philadelphia and actually had the chance to go kayaking with my son, daughter-in-law and one year old granddaughter. It was awesome fun! It was also so inspiring to see the natural joy and curiosity of our granddaughter, and the love of that family for one another. Very cool indeed!

We brought her various toy ducks for her birthday and they were a huge hit.
It was my son’s idea and I was skeptical, but WOW. She put ducks on people’s laps, and took ducks off of people’s laps, and put them on again, and took them off again. And we played peek-a-boo duck, and giggled a lot. What fun!

My visit also reaffirmed that I am way to old to have a new baby in the house.
That privilege needs to be reserved to those who are many years younger than me….more flexible…..more energetic….needing way less sleep!

Just before I left for Philadelphia, I composed a new piece of music that will be placed on every Soul/Deepbody album. I “thought” that this music would be called Earth Song, and the album cover was even already designed by Susan with this title on it. However, when I finished the music and listened back I knew that this was not “Earth Song”. What was it? That was a mystery. So I e-mailed the music to Conrad and asked “What is this music?!” Keep in mind that I never ask anyone what my music is or what it’s title is. However, that happened to the Emergence track of the Emergence album and also to the new music composed for the Soul/Deepbody albums. These are new places for me to experience and I don’t always know what has come forth. So….the new title is “Living the Soul (in human form)”. This 12 minutes of music is hard and fast drumming from the Soul, with a dance rhythm, a clapping feeling, and a very Eastern sound. I love it a lot!!

What does all of this have to do with the EMERGENCE album? The energy of the Healing Music is pulling along not only the EMERGENCE album, but other new music such as the Soul/Deepbody piece. The Healing Music album is also healing and supporting me in profound ways.
