In June 2005, I experienced a week at the majestic Lake Atitilan surrounded by active volcanoes and extraordinary Guatemalan weavers, artists and musicians.  This rich creative environment inspired me to create Heart of Sky/Heart of Earth with its powerful musical images.  This music expresses the vastness of the creation source that is the primordial sea, the sky with it's thunder and it's energy, and Mother Earth awakening.  The call of the horn and the song of birds bring the dawn and new birth.  Morning arrives on Mother Earth. In exultation, the voices of many drums sound the dance of life as humanity begins to create on the earth.
